    We use to play with metal filings an magnets ...it was fascinating to see all the patterns they made ....:)

    I would have my students drag magnets through soil to retrieve micrometeorites. I don't remember where I got the idea. It works.

    Do you have breakfast cereals like Kellogs Corn Flakes in America....Hold a strong magnet next to the unopened plastic inner bag and then shake the bag with all the flakes in side......Powered food grade iron with then stick to the magnet......it looks wierd ...:)
