Back in the day, it did not cost an arm and a leg to do so.

I send a few out.  I don't send anything by email.  Too impersonal to me.

We get the standard typical stereotypical CHRISTMAS LETTER via email from one of our acquaintances. A blow-by-blow update of all the wonderful places they went, things they did, what they eat, what they loved, what they liked, what they accomplished what they aspire to do next year etcetera and so forth. The standard-issue ego letter. SHEESH. Different strokes. Thank you for your reply.

Oh yeah.  I used to get those from the starving for recognition types who want to entertain the world with their accomplishments.  I can barely get through that stuff.

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz  LOL

I have a very rich cousin who sends me pictures of his family and his new car and his house.  ???

His car?  Oh yeah.  His boat too.  He is addicted to things and he wears them as a badge of accomplishment.

Some people cannot fill that hole of needing more and more adulation and  admiration.  A Trump trait.
