We keep creating devices that divide us. Will we ever grow up enough to give them up?

You say the devices makes our lives easier. Is easy always BETTER?

You say they allow conversation to occur 24/7 . WHAT? No escape from being plugged in 24/7?

Why is it such a good thing to be able to contact anyone anywhere at any hour  forever? Why are  y'all so TERRIFIED of being out of touch for even a minute? What is going on that makes people uneasy when they are away from their devices? What are they missing out on? Who is connecting and having a good time without them? Seriously? That seems very scary to me. And it's gonna get worser and worser isn't it? Are you up with it down with it with it?

They may allow conversation to go on 24/7 with the person on the other end, but the person sitting opposite get's ignored. Good day to you Rosie :)

I see it everyday all around me kj. I have never had that happen to me. I don't recall ever being in someone's company who would rather be on the phone than talking with me but then I am very selective about with whom I spend time. It is so RUDE to do that and a bazillion folks do it. It's like a pacificer that they will not cannot give up. They SCREAM if they have to unhook from it. Like sucking your thumb or carrying a blankie. I just thought of another question. Guess what it will pertain to?  Thank you for your reply and the nifty graphics and Happy Friday.
