    The Bible is older than that. I've studied the OT in Hebrew and the NT in Greek.

    As for the "Great Bible", that wasn't accomplished in the time of Henry VIII (or any Tudor) but commissioned by James I (Stuart). He was too lazy and frequently too drunk to concentrate on the Latin Vulgate translation, so demanded it in the vernacular.
