I don't love my country.....it's just the place where I was born....I feel fortunate that I/we live in a very peaceful land and that our police are mostly unarmed..... Its a shame that every one it feels are consumed with making huge profits on every item made or sold.... The way of pricing any items in the shop is not to work out a profit margin and be happy with that...it all now about " What the market will stand " and excessive price rigging to keep all prices high....
Simple every day things brought in from Chaina cost only pennies when arrive here in huge bulk....things that should then cost a pound or two are hiked up every were to thirty pounds or more....
its rediculous and nothing more than greed ,supported by our government as they real off far greater volumes of various taxes with no care for the public...
Possions are all just tempory things that people can't take with them... I feel very fortunate that we here don't suffer with either extreames of weather and we have one of the worlds best NHS Health systems.....and that it's free for all is truly wonderful...
Like any thing....they might not yet be able to cure all ills ,but the care they give is truly amazing ....

How long have your people lived in England D? I am FIRST GENERATION AMERICAN. My people (parents and grandparents) fled to America from certain death during the Armenian Genocide at the hands of the Turks. They became naturalized citizens. THEY LOVED THEIR ADOPTED COUNTRY. I LOVE MY COUNTRY DEEPLY AND DEVOTEDLY. I HATE what ultimatum man has done to it. I am grateful that my parents and grandparents did not live to this day and what that despicable evil man has done to it. I am deeply ASHAMED of all those who support his evil. So my reason for LOVING MY COUNTRY and your reason for not loving yours I guess makes sense. Thank you for your thoughtful reply D. It is what it is. How much longer I don't know.
As far as I know ,I think both sets of grand parents and forbearers have been born and bred here Rosie.....we are all fair skinned and there were/are quite a few blonde both male and female and we look we originate from the Scandinavian Vikings maybe..... I like the Greek islands and country side there.....I feel so much for them and what they have to endure with what's going on over there at the moment....
I understand your feelings about being taken in by a safe haven.... You would feel the same about any country that helped you like that I think.....
I don't think England has a good track record in the past though....They have raped the world for centuries ....done terrible things to the Irish ,Scotish ,Welsh and anyone that stood in their way.... They stole America from its natives with the aid of the French and God knows all else....we did the same with Australia ,New Zealand ,India ,China ,Africa ,Canada and so many other places.....
I love peaceful people that are not greedy and have no need for violence.....
Home to me is where you can live freely and where no one breaks into your home to rob and steal for what you've worked for..... I belive in helping anyone trying to make it ,more so if they are genuine and not wishing to get rich quick at other's expense....
How nice would it be if we had to abide by sensible laws and that our government would stop using it population as nothing more than a cash cow......
All fines should never go back to the Goverment to spend on weapons or other crackpot things..... It should all go back the community to help the homeless ,the ill and those that work yet can't afford live and buy even basic foods or pay their ever increasing bills.....
We all mostly live in Parasetic societies that panda totally to the rich ...... Will it ever change......! I don't think so.p Rosie........:(
I like to make people laugh and smile.....it's something that my parents home was always like and growing up there was so amazing.....still is when we are all together....:)
