Back when I was a student, one of my part-time casual jobs was with a modelling agency.
Mostly they sent me bit-part roles in T.V. advertisements.
I also did casual modelling for artists.
My face was a critical factor for either, but it may have helped.

I had the chance to pursue acting at one point. Appearance in a couple of amateur productions of plays by Ibsen and Pinta resulted in an uninvited offer of a place at drama school. I didn't take it because I disliked the culture of fame and celebrity that is a bi-product of film, theatre and performance. I feared that if I got hooked into that kind of thinking it would have a negative effect on me. Looking back over my life and issues, I think it was a good guess.

  • Sort of -  I worked for seven years in a very high end health club.  They didn't blatantly require job applicants to be attractive...but they kind of did...

I haven't specifically applied for employment where my facial features would be a deciding factor, but I'm pretty sure that my overall appearance has helped me gain employment.

  • i used to work at the make up counter in macy's

they dont say you have to look nice but it's def implied. if your make up looks nice then potential buyers are more likely to trust you, buying what you are selling and earning you a commission
