Have you ever drunk Holy Water?

I actually have a bottle of this. My first wife gave it to me when she was chief chemist at our water plant. It's filled with our tap water.

  • No, that's reserved for the holier-than-thous.

  • I hope no one chooses to, because I found this little tidbit on Wiki: " Tests indicated 86 percent of the holy water, commonly used in baptism ceremonies and to wet congregants' lips, was infected with common bacteria found in fecal matter such as E. coli, enterococci and Campylobacter, which can lead to diarrhea, cramping, abdominal pain, and fever.” This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at January 23, 2019 8:56 AM MST

    You have no idea.

I just was gifted with water that had been poured over a stone that came out of a saint's forehead.

I drank that, yes I did and I am now told I have no cancer.   Coincidence?   I think not.

Yes ... it's called carbonated water ... all the bubbles create holes in the water.

    HA!

I have sampled some water from the Green Springs, Ohio healing spring that has been a sacred place to native Americans for centuries. These days, there is a rehabilitation hospital on the site. They have a few swans and ducks paddling around in the pond. The water stinks of sulfur but is O.K. to drink from the actual spring. It's been 40 years since I drank it, and I have been really healthy since.
