    If someone yelled that word loudly and suddenly, before thinking anything, I'd have probably jumped (literally) and possibly yelled out, "OH!!" - - I have a huge startle reaction.

    After that, my first thought would be an apology to anyone standing around me -- I sometimes scare people around me if I have a big reaction to a loud noise.

    Boy, I'm a joy to be around.
