D'ya really think the nothing man will try another shot at shutting the gubment down again to get his way? Really? Should he?

So this could be a template for him futurely. Ultimatum shutdown backdown ultimatum shut down back down ultimatum shut down back down. To infinity and beyond? Oy vey.

If the Dems still will not find the wall come Feb 15, I believe he will declare an emergency and build the wall with the military budget.

YOU HAD THE MAJORITY IN THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE FOR TWO YEARS. WHY DID YOU NOT GET THAT WALL THEN? WELL? If you couldn't do it with your own majority what makes you think the opposition party will give it to you? WELL? WELL? WELL? WELL? WELL?

We had too many RINO establishment Republicans in there may as well have been Dems.
When Trump wins in 2020 we should fix all that.

The American electorate stated loudly and clearly in the mid-terms that a Trump without a leash is dangerous to the American neighborhood...

So when Mitt Romney was elected, did you dismiss him as just another RINO?

Yes, Romney is and has always been a RINO that is a big reason he lost the to Obama. He won the Senate because he ran in Utah.

Midterms always go against the party in power. But President Trump lost fewer seats than Obama or Clinton did at there midterms (Bush W midterms were odd because of 9/11). And Rep gained seats in the Senate which is historically not what happens in a midterm. President Trump being only the 3rd President in 100 yrs to gain seats in the Senate during a midterm election.

So no not a huge mandate against the President at all.

Since you did promise to correct your mistakes, do a search on your comment: Midterms always go against the party in power---and then correct it.

Inertia theories are so over-rated---they assume results are the product not only of one factor but also the the constancy of that factor.

He just wants attention.  If shutting it down didn't allow him to get his ay then he'll declare it an "emergency" and get the funds for his "monument to himself" elsewhere (not caring that those funds are for more serious things).  I believe that the has no clue how money works.  He (and most republicans) believe that if the government needs more money, then they should simply print more up.  Problem solved.  (not quite how it works)
He also believes that he can do anything to get his way (like a spoiled immature child).  "I'm emperor; do as I say or else."  When someone stands up to him and tells him to his face that the can't do that (bad boy), he gets mad.  "Don't tell me what I can and can't do.  I'm the prez and l can do anything I want!  (Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah!").

He has already humiliated himself beyond belief Shuhak. HE HAD THE HOUSE MAJORITY AND THE SENATE MAJORITY FOR TWO YEARS AND HE FAILED TO GET HIS WALL! HE IS A LOSER after all and it was abundantly clear that he had no plan or goal or backup. He thought Dems would cave just like his toady sycophant trumpicans did. HE WAS WRONG. How stupid dumb can he be to not figure out HE BLEW THE CHANCE HE HAD and HE BE BAD! Oh so bad. Thank you for your thoughtful reply. The whining about this absolute humiliation will continue on and on and on and on. Sheesh! :).

I think his next move will be to declare a national energy then try  to divert money from the military to build his wall. Right now Russia is more or less telling the US that they better get their warship out of the Baltic sea. That's a military treat that shouldn't be taking lightly but yet trump is willing to weaken the military by taken their funding to build his wall. Cheers and happy weekend!

The only thing the shutdown accomplished was to cause a humanitarian crisis for many of those who are in the government workforce...I seriously doubt that Congress will be willing to allow the government to be shut down by Trump again without it being quickly reopened...And I think the American people's reaction to such a shutdown would be an "Oh, hell no!!!"...Shutting it down again would be like trying to walk across a 12 foot wide canyon on a 10 foot board---a waste of effort.

You know what scares me tom? When will he take us to war? I think he has been itching to do it. Think Venezuela might be the where we get involved? I have  friend who thinks that is what is currently in the works with him. It would certainly be a way to divert attention from corrupt and criminal investigation worries. What better way could there be than that? Thank you for your thoughtful reply and Happy Sunday!   :)
