hartfire, no counting is necessary. You email provider should display the number, unless, of course, you have one of the stripped down, no cost, generic providers. That must be why you prefer the low cost tilde to that of the elite comma. Obviously you failed to read the fine print - There will be NO substitutions.

452 in gmail, but I think it must clear itself periodically. 

hartfire, I guess you haven't kept up with the latest release of the new and improved comma. It's far more useful than the outdated and less popular tilde of yesterday. I speculate in the very near future, the tilde will join the ranks of the cassette and 8 tract tape.

My "main" email? Only 9 junk emails. My very first email, from 1997? 963 messages in the spam folder. And I cleaned it out just three weeks ago.

I am trying very hard to move from technically correct use of commas to a more sparing usage.

With luck I may eventually develop a personal style. Right now I seem to flip-flop all over the place.

JA, Mine does too.  However, I don't know the frequency.  I've never paid much attention to that actually, but I would love to have it deleted every couple of days if it was possible.

There might be something that isn't spam in there but I don't feel like looking right now.

I can only delete 50 at a time which makes emptying the spam folder a little too much work.

Rpf, I wish there was some way to avoid unwanted emailed from clogging up your email.  Most of the crap I get are for sexual encounters or sexual enhancements.  LIKE...THANK YOU!!

I had about 10 but I deleted all of them.  I do that every day.

I don't have a big spam problem in my main email.  I have some other emails that fill up with it.  Those addresses are hardly ever even used.............mostly to register on websites. ;;)

Ooh, I'm up to 2558 right now lol.  I'm growing a spam garden in my e-mail folder!  I think I emptied it last month or maybe in June.
