I just listened :) I didn’t think I knew it at first but I recognize a part of the song...maybe the chorus was in commercial or something. I really like the whole song. I’m gonna buy it:). Good choice, thanks Welby :)
And the group Jakaranda sampled the actual Dream Academy recording for their kick-a** song that includes the chorus. Jakaranda's song is "Never Let You Go" and it was used in the Lindsey Lohan movie "The Parent Trap." Check this out, too, if you get a chance. I love it, too. I like that Jakaranda made a totally new song out of the chorus and used The Dream Academy's recording. :)
Yes!!! That’s exactly were I knew that part of the song from! Thanks, that was driving me nutz lol. I did just buy the song you originally posted. Thanks introduce it to me.
I came across your question here, again, by chance. I'm happy you liked The Dream Academy's "Life in a Northern Town." I thought I'd add another song by them that I like (though I truly like everything I've ever heard by them). Maybe you might like this one, too, if you get a chance to listen. I find it lovely.
You're welcome, Jaimie. Yeah, "Life in a Northern Town" is in a class all by itself for me. I can say I truly adore that song. :)
Like I said, I like everything I've heard from The Dream Academy, yet, "Life in a Northern Town" is over-the-top phenomenal for me. I've yet to ever tire of listening to it.

Yup -- I love it, too. Yes, I remember you told me you bought the song after listening. :) You recently shared that you bought another song I had posted on the site but I can't remember at the moment what that other one was. :)
I can’t remember what it was either...I was just trying to go through all my iTunes Cos I’m sure if I saw it I would remember, but I have so many songs I gave up lol.
Excellent! I just told someone the other day that that song, if I had to choose, would be my choice for the "Best Song I've Ever Heard." Like Mary Poppins, it's 'practically perfect in every way to me.' :)
