Do you have enough 'stuff' or do you always want more and more?

  • I probably have too much stuff .. and I'm always getting rid of things I don't think I need.  They seem to multiply anyway.

  • I have a whole bunch of stuff you can have, bring a trailer.  I won't promise any of it would sell at a garage sale.

  • I'm actually pretty minimal as far as stuff goes. I'm not a big fan of clutter.  I've walked into houses that look like the one being depicted in the picture you included.  I almost feel like I"m going to have a panic attack in places like that.  All that's missing from the picture are the dozen cats that are climbing over everything.

I have this lovely little wooded area where I can take little short walks. I wood like to have 10,000 acres of woodlands, but I should be happy with what I got.

You can be happy with that which you have without consciously realizing that you would like to have more.   In other words, knowing you would love to have 10,000 acres doesn't have to mean that you aren't happy with the one acre that you have.  :)

To say otherwise would mean that people with ambition are not happy.  That is 100% incorrect. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at February 2, 2019 7:51 AM MST

  • The only thing I'd like more of sometimes is coffee.  I don't hoard things - can't stand clutter.

I have everything I need that doesn't spoil or get consumed and have to be replaced.

I have everything I need right now - and then some.
