Since my musical tastes are more old school ... 60's and 70's rock ... most of the new songs and especially rap "songs" are annoying to me. They seem less musical and uplifting .. and more just angry statements.
I don't have any little ones anymore but I remember those days, High School musical on repeat! My better half and I were talking about old cartoons and I remembered the theme tune to Roobarb and Custard, since then both of us have been haunted by it, it just sticks in your head...
It's got to be anything by that Poppy chick. I heard it by accident on the React Channel on YouTube, and just....NO.

lol That one and "It's Muffin Time" made the rounds here maybe a year or two ago. The latest is the baby shark song. A few weeks back, I had a group of small human beings put that one on repeat for hours on end, but they were laughing and having a good time with it, so it was pretty magical.
I can't listen to "Africa" by Weezer anymore. It's overplayed. Another one that annoys me is "Broken" by lovelytheband. It grates on me because it's promoting dysfunction. Broken people can't be in relationships at all, let alone two of them in one. Hearing that song is like watching two cars about to have a head-on collision at 90 mph.
