    Ok.  I can do cheese all day and night.


    If it has a slightly sweet note to it like a good, salty Romano or Parmesian, or Swiss?  I will faint with joy.

    I have more on this subject.

    I am Italian; half Italian anyway.   My grandma's friends were over one day years ago and told a story about loving cheese with maggots crawling out like this.  They were raised on it and it supposedly has the best taste.

    Oh and this is something to live for.  Trying this amazing cheese for the first time.  I am still a virgin.  Wensleydale (SP?) cheese


    HEAVEN I AM TOLD

    Now this is not the best critique on this type of cheese, but it's pretty good.


    Wensleydale with Cranberries is a hand-made Yorkshire cheese. It is made from milk drawn from cows grazing the sweet limestone pastures on surrounding farms in Upper Wensleydale. This gives the cheese the unique flavor for which it is renowned.

    The cheese is a fresh, young cheese taken at only three weeks old - it has a clean, mild, slightly sweet flavor with a honeyed aftertaste. The superb texture of fresh Wensleydale is perfectly complemented by the addition of natural ingredients of the finest quality.

    When this Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese is combined with juicy cranberries you will get a cheese that is a beauty to your eyes and to your taste buds.

    We hand-cut and wrap this cheese in wedges of 1 pound, 8 ounces, and we also have a half moon cheese of approximately 2.5 pounds available.

    Please note that half moon wheels may vary slightly in total weight, you will be charged for the actual weight of the wheel that you will receive.

    Most cheeses made in accord with their original traditions.
    Love them at room temperature and preferably ripe.
    My ideal, a board of five: a blue, a soft inoculated, a hard aged or smoked, a cottage or a fancy, and a goat's or sheep's, (no need for butter)
    with a dark whole meal rye bread and chopped fresh parsley - served as the 3rd part of a multi-course lunch, the way they do it in France.


    Loathe the mass produced ones like Kraft cheddar or Philadelphia cream.
