They are pretty tasty along with Kipper Snacks. Rye Crisp, Stone Ground Mustard, onion and whatever. We had some the other night with Champagne - tasty. Toasted bread roundels brushed with garlic are also good with those critters. The kids as they are moving to solids are beginning to get a taste or them as well
They also make for good Mountain Hiking Emergency food - Low weight, high protein. A great mountain soup in a one burner is Miso & Sardine Soup. We have sat a few storms with that one. Hot liquid with potassium and sodium with good flavor = fantastic. Down side is packing out the tins.
