I need to make some.
Rocky road fudge is the best :)
I like the fudgey kind.
Why, if you make some, will we all get to taste it?
~
I'm think'en Nuka Cola!!!!!!!!!
That would be like a plastic explosive.
Send me your address.
Yes, that sounds like a winner.
Hmmm I don't think I ever had that one.
Well, you are not going to get any fudge by being cagey. And that isn't fudge that is a muffin.
Some student from Colombia brought a coconut shell filled with some incredibly delicious substance. He didn't know what it was called in English, but it was made from milk and sugar. I researched for a long time and finally figured out that it was FUDGE! Americans have no idea what fudge tastes like because the American version is usually polluted with chocolate, and other flavors such as vanilla or maple are considered specialty variations. But pure fudge is only milk and sugar, cooked until it turns into a magical substance. It is so different from chocolate fudge that in Mexico they made up a special name for it. They call it sweet milk, dulce de leche.
Plain cocoa fudge is my favorite, but I learned how to make a very quick peanut butter fudge and that is what I've made the last two times I made fudge. It was for a sweet attack when there was nothing sweet in the house.
I was going to label it a brownie but in any case, it is not fudge. Looks pretty good though. :)
Too bad you didn't give me your address, coward. I made vanilla fudge and hazelnut chocolate and they turned out good as anything you ever tasted.
That is Dulce de leche. It is NOT fudge. They are two totally different deserts.
Fudge is generally made with a sugar and a butter and can be made in a variety of flavors. Dulce de Leche has nothing to do with it. All that is is concentrated milks and sweeteners. I've had both and many fudges are made with concentrated condensed sweetened milk which IS dulce de leche. What do you think Sweetened Evaporated Milk is?
I used to make the peanut butter fudge when I was a kid and loved it.
I've made it when I was a kid with the girl next door. Good memories.
Chocolate with nuts.
