Has anyone here seen Harold and Maude?

It's just a nice movie that's been on my mind recently.

You are a puzzle and that is for sure.

Old music is okay but old flicks not okay but Rat Pack is okay?

Years ago that had sort of a cult following. People would see it over and over again. I saw it once and thought it was silly.

That is because you are not 80 years old yet so have not experienced falling in love with a child.

    Just wait.

    Hello Bigloseridiotman..
Yes, I have seen it. It was filmed in the area where I live and I have been to many of the places where filming took place..
Downtown redwood City, where they took the tree, the old Dumbarton bridge, where they were chased by the motorcycle cop, sand hill road, where they had the picnic is just a few minutes from my house.
Rose court mansion, I have been inside this house.
It is fun to see how much some of these areas have changed and how other places look pretty much the same...

That's awesome! The picnic scene where Harold says he wants to be one of the flowers because they're all the same is my favorite sequence in the movie, other than the ending

Definitely one of the best sequences in the movie, the way it goes from a field of white flowers to a field of white gravestones is quite the juxtaposition. I am not sure where the "flower" scene was, the cemetery is the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, just south of san Francisco.
What I called the picnic scene, and now I cant remember if they had a picnic there or not, is the scene where Maude cries out the "Tarzan" call. There are a couple of barren oaks, and Harold does summersaults.
I m gonna have to watch again...great movie.

Oh yeah I thought you meant the cemetery one, that's a great scene too though, I always forget there's going to be real tarzan call haha
