Thank you for your reply Walt. I would have been majorly surprised if you had any ballet in your background. Of course we have Baryishnakov(sp?). The lady toe dancers need gentlemen to dance with them most of the time. But you never played any sport at all? My son was into Little League at the age of 8 and played in different leagues till he was 16. I have a lot of pictures and picture badges that all moms wore. Good memories. I was not athletic. I'm a very good admirer of those who are. :)
Yep ... I barely made it through square dancing we had to take in Middle School, as part of PE. LOL I was in the Boy Scouts and took piano lessons, so my parents didn't have time for Little League. Then later, I wasn't interested in hanging around "the jocks" because of their attitudes/actions.
My nieces are both in ballet school, and enjoy it.
I took ballet lessons when I was about 7 or 8. We had ballet flats .. not toe shoes. We did wear tutus a few times. I was not advanced enough to know how to toe dance. :) (I didn't take ballet for long .. I preferred sports.)
Every little girl wants to be a ballerina at one time or another. I never took lessons. But I did take violin lessons briefly and then piano lessons from 8-12. Had recitals too. I think being en pointe destroys the feet of those who do. All that weight on your toes? Thank you for your reply Mrs.C and Happy Wednesday to thee! :)
I took piano lessons a bit longer than ballet. My sister did better with both. I was better in sports. :) Happy Wednesday to you too my friend! ((hugs))
I never tried any on. Never took dance lessons. Did briefly have a fling with the violin and then for 4 years took piano lessons. Thank you for your reply D and Happy Wednesday to thee! :)
I would love to play the violin Rosie....the Mandolin ,squees box ,saxophone and mouth organ as well...:) Ill do anything to get on other peoples nerves....it's a trait of mine thats extreamly hard to resist...lol
