Remember when Senator Dianne Feinstein (D – CA), the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, did something caused that Donald Trump was forced to come up with a clever nickname for her?
“Sneaky.” That was the name the President came up with, “Sneaky Dianne Feinstein.”
What, exactly, Feinstein did that was so “sneaky” was defy her Republican colleagues to make public a much-discussed transcript of the committee’s interview with one of the founders of the firm that produced the infamous dossier outlining a Russian effort to aid Trump’s bid for the White House.
And according to Scott Dworkin from the Democratic Coalition, the move to make it public may be finally waking up some GOP defenders of Trump in the probe:
“A friend who advises a House Republican just told me they truly didn’t believe the Russia allegations against Trump. So they’ve just been dismissing it. Today they read the Fusion GPS transcript & it was like a light turned on. Realizing Trump is an actual traitor. Sad to watch.”

Sad, yes. Sad that it took this long. History won’t remember this Republican majority Senate kindly for their Trump-enabling behavior. But also, hopeful, in that maybe some real action against Trump’s behavior will finally be taken.
You know things are bad when the GOP’s own adviser is saying things like this based on what’s been released to the public. Now, imagine how much worse things actually are when you factor in all the things we don’t know.
