I have no idea. Maybe 10lbs? Something is causing me to have high cholesterol and I don't eat very much and I exercise. So, if it's hereditary, what can I do?
The amount is not as important as what when it comes to this. Everyone has a tendency to have higher amounts as we age. It's not a bad thing; nature is taking care to be sure your nutrients are able to travel in your body. That is how cholesterol helps us. Try a cholesterol lowering diet before you let your doc put you on statins. There are many foods that help lower your number, like oatmeal.
I'm 5 feet, 9 inches tall (1.75.meters), and I weigh about 175 pounds (79 kilograms). I wouldn't mind losing between 15 to 20 pounds, no matter how unrealistic the resulting weight would be for my height/weight proportions.
