Are you "being yourself" if you shave your head, get a mohawk or dye your hair blue?

I don't think so because I am too sort of conservative looking for that.

"Be yourself" actually means "Be perfect and act like it comes naturally."

I dyed my hair blue in 6th grade. I was being myself at the time. 

Well I wouldn't be. Because I don't see those things as anything I would do.  But some people if they want to or think they should they go for it.  And after all who are we to tell anyone they are not being themselves. Which includes not just what they are but what they want to be or think they should be.
