What is your favorite state (or country) to live in? What things do you like about it?

I like Minnesota. The weather is terrible and it keeps the riff-raff out.

I like British Columbia -mountains,  oceans, mild climate. 

I love the South but I really enjoy Washington State as well.  I enjoyed the time I spent in Northern California but I would never live there permanently.  My time was in the extreme Northern part of the state.  I'm in Florida now and I do like the state but I am too far south and don't have any change in seasons.  I really do miss that.
