Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» I think the damage is permanent. The abomination we have suffered since January 2017 cannot be prayed away. How badly damaged are we?
I also value individual freedom; I also love God, and I appreciate that the dignity of working is available of most of us in the US.
Angle your gaze upward from the water's surface and notice the iceberg Trump is steering us inexorably toward and see if you are still as satisfied and hopeful.
Remember, falling feels like flying for a little while.
But why be so cryptic/poetic and expect me to somehow get it. Why not just express your views? Why talk of "icebergs" and such? Which I thought with global melting there would be less of. And who is talking of "flying"? I don't even do that any longer. I see our freedoms and diversity threatened by totalitarian thinking - do it only one way or else. Think only one way. Let the government do it for you. Pres. Trump is no great shakes but is refreshing to see someone who believes the way I do on these things. Willing to let us alone and not try to herd us into some kind of unitary one-size-fits-all state.
You might be forgetting about the majority of the youth in America when you say the damage is permanent - they will get things fixed up might take 5 or 10 years but they will do it . Cheers!
If their parents are RACISTS and prodons they will have infected their children to be prodons too. Their children will grow up worshipping Don don and so their children will forever love adore admire Don don. I am convinced of that Nanoose. The children of prodons cannot escape the damage. It is all they know. And they will pay it forward via their children. And so on. There will be photos of Don don in every prodon home to which the prodons will pray. I can see it and I don't like the view. I hope you're right. I pray you are. "We'll see what happens. Everyone says do". SIGH. Thank you for your reply Nanoose.
I can't think of an abomination that can't be "prayed away". I suppose that's why so many people remain in diligent intercessory prayer for this nation. I think that you're right about one thing. The damage will indeed be permanent as long as the scourge of leftist radicalism remains as a dark pall over the land. As for January 2017, that was a welcomed answer to prayer.
I agree that the devil answers prayers most quickly when the result is a blow against democratic principles---with the inauguration of Trump in January 2017 being one of his most treasured accomplishments.
