Have gradually learned to. Even though not so much to like but its me and some people like me which is very gratifying. I try to figure out what is good about me they like but I can only guess. Just glad they do!
No never was. I had , and still have, decent legs and hips. From the waist up not so great although that does not seem to bother some people. Always had a sort of an androgynous face and not much in the way of boobs until menopause when the former cleared up. Now at 61 I am mostly grey though still have somewhat of a figure. But all those are - OK appearance which I long ago learned to live with. Never could make it on just look so had to cultivate becoming a good companion and cooking and cleaning and being able to take care of myself. Which stood me in pretty good stead.
