But yes--we will always bask in our age, regardless of how old we are. But I still have plenty of youth left to bask in and will do it to the fullest extent :)

No. It is different. The world is more youth centered than ever before. The only jobs left are tech jobs and only young minds can learn at the constant rate to keep those jobs. A few older ones might be able to make it into "management", but even that structure is collapsing in favor of "agile" work groups. The profiteers at the extreme top may remain older, but that remains to be seen.
