The site's projecting. It's been a little self-conscious about it's weight lately... Tell it it looks pretty and maybe it will stop.
We used to belong to a really cool ad platform called Project Wonderful. Most of the people wanting to advertise were small mom-and-pop sites or web comics and blogs. That site shut down at the end of last year and one of the other advertisers happened to be the lady behind both the diet one and 3000 Goodies. She offered me a flat rate to keep her ads up and has been paying in three-month increments. I like her ads better than the alternative and, since she's just a regular person, not a corporation, I feel good supporting her too. She just re-upped, so her ads will be in place through July now. Overall, it sure beats the alternative.
