I don't know if guys really prefer women who wear a lot of makeup. I never ever encountered one like that. Ever. Not one.Of course my travels were not in high society and among the glamorous. Standards there I'm sure are different. But for me persponally I like to SEE YOU as you are before you start putting on the glamor. What about you?

In principle yes. Of course some of us need all the help we can get to look our best.  But its very personal - the fact is most of us are very hard on ourselves and, comparing ourselves to what we imagine are our standards of beauty,  we see and imagine defects where really none exist which some seek to conceal or hide.  I don't know - I think most of up into our mid 40s really don't need any makeup because youth is enough.  But then of course we want to look appropriate for the occasion or special for special occasions because it makes us feel better and more confident.  Self-esteem can often be elusive.  And if we construe that only as a matter of looks then of course we can go astray. So if we decide we look better and present ourselves and more effectively adorned then we really are not going to take kindly to any criticism.  However well meant it might be.

You read into my question something not in evidence bh. I said nothing about being unclothed. So why did you bring it up? I know you're joking. Do you have an opinion on this subject? Do you like to see women wearing makeup or do you prefer the natural look? Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday to thy.

I agree.  I've seen women wear inches of makeup thinking it made them look "prettier" when in reality they looked much "sexier" without makeup (at least to me).  (to avoid arguments, I will stay off my soapbox on makeup)
