Australia Becomes First Country To Begin Microchipping Its Public
Australia is to become the first country in the world to microchip its public. NBC new predicted that all Americans would be microchipped by 2017, but it seems Australia may have beaten them to the post.
You just can't fix this kind of stupid. It's embedded in the DNA...
Hey, on second thought maybe that'd be a good way to ID people--by the genetic tendency to trade humanity for convenience. This way the government could keep tabs on those who are no longer of benefit to society (and/or don't espouse politically acceptable views) and simply turn them off. Think Obamacare death panel on steroids. Yeah! This could be the chit! Just imagine the side benefits! If you don't like your neighbor playing his/her music at all hours, just hack into his/her chip and...
WOW 1984 has become a reality now? That is truly chilling.
Whew! I was sorely afraid nobody would get this. Glad to see you're an exception.
I don't know where that newspaper got its info from but it's not true.
Neon Nettle is an alternative media conspiracy website.
LOL, Neon Nettle. Their Twitter feed is freakin' hilarious.
LOL
It is not the Australian government doing or mandating this, just some idiots looking to make a buck off their fellow idiots.
A Florida family volunteered in 2002. I cannot find the video, but I remember when Diane Sawyer covered the story for ABC, she actually used the term "Brave New World". SMH

Some Mexican officials and law enforcement were chipped in 2009, I believe it was.
Pass!
NEVER EVER
Is this government mandated or just the transhumanist technocrats thinking they're superior to us non-autistics?
Is this anything like whistling in the graveyard? :-D
Damnit, you found me out. :-D
Awww, come on! How about a chip in the forehead, then? :-)
(All joking aside, the scary part is that MAYBE one or two people on here would have any idea what I was talking about.)
Another one volunteers for 'reeducation.' :-)
The latter (transhumanists) for now. :-)
I recall how sick I felt when I heard Diane Sawyer say "Brave New World" with a smile on her face.
As long as they're potato ID chips I'm fine with it. I'll take a whole case of them.
But you're talking about "We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile".
Or to put it differently when that starts happening for real it will be time to exercise that 2nd Amendment thing. (And I know that the story is bogus but you can bet someone is watching for a reaction.) Then again, some people seem to be good with having their entire medical histories loaded onto a chip that they carry with them. Not much of a leap from that to a full-blown implant with ALL of one's info.
Even scarier is that they've likely been forewarned as well ;)
One group or other has been pushing this hellish agenda for at least eleven hundred years. Only now is it possible to tag and track every single human being like cattle.
And to the satanic elite, that's all we are.
With the advance of secularism and so-called 'enlightenment' it'll only get worse.
I'm an Australian.
We have been microchipping pets and horses for a decade or so. It's locally required by councils on pain of animal being euthanazed if found lost and not claimed within two weeks.
But no person has been microchipped.
Nor is there any public discussion of legislating for such a possibility.
It would not pass public acceptance; whoever tried would be voted out of office.
Anyone who falls foul of the law has their DNA sampled and permanently recorded.
Most others use a photo and signature on their driver's license for identity.
Four documents are required to show proof of identity for specific legal transactions such as opening a bank account, getting a job or buying land or equity.
But yes, the principles of 1984 have crept upon us anyway - mostly through mobile phones, internet, credit cards and surveillance cameras. There's still plenty of wriggle room. I live in a way in which I can't be traced by big brother - but not many others are willing to sacrifice convenience for that kind of privacy. Not that I need to - but just that it creeps me out that some impersonal entity surveils my shopping habits or tries to analyse how to target my preferences for commercial purposes. They may think it's their rightful business but I disagree.
