Have you ever gotten (Yes, it is a word) away with a typo, spelling or grammatical error on here?

I think I did once.  It was a very good day.

  • Once, but I asked Randy if a word I posted was a word , cos I wasn’t sure. I can’t remember what the word was now, but it was a real word. Not a typo.

  • Ummm Randy, I use that word on a daily basis and you’ve never corrected me before. Sorry,  but you’ve passed the Statute of limitations. Cos is now officially a word, cos I said so.

    I once got a word changed by an over eager editor my 'thunk' (From the scarecrows  "If I only had a brain" song)
    became 'think'. And that really is wrong, because think is present tense and thunk is past tense (after you ring the bell you have rung the bell).
