    Kids that are kidnapped are always obnoxious to the kidnapper.  They are chattel and have minutes to live as a rule and are raped repeatedly and then slaughtered.

    I just can't get it up for this joke. Sorry.

    There are lots of quite obnoxious kids about these days it seems.. but no, the parent's still adore them.  As Sharon said, there are some horrendous stories about kids being kidnapped and kept slaves for decades.
