Do You Have a Motto You Live by?

I live by the lessons I have learned from my past.  However, there is ONE Motto that usually pops in my mind many times a day It is: "Silence Can Never Be Misquoted."

That quote has been useful to me. It gives me a chance to STOP from putting my foot in my mouth.

What about YOU? What is YOUR Motto?

    Silence can mean disagreement or dislike.

    Hello SA:

    I LIKE yours..  Mine I learned early on.

    On my honor, I will do my best
    To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
    To help other people at all times;
    To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

    Good morning!  Silence CAN mean disagreement to some, but definitely not with me.  Those who know me know I am thinking when I become silent. I speak more when I agree.

    Thank you.;)

    Hi SA.  I have many that I live by.  I will probably revisit this question more than once if you don't mind.  Here is one;

    I still struggle with that one SA.  I am still the eternal optimist deep down inside.  I still want to believe that someone's good side will win out in the end.  Uuugh.  It's not easy for me to walk away with the certainty that someone can't change, but life has taught me that it is a MUST!

    Do you think it started when I was a kid trying to rescue all those little baby animals that got orphaned or hurt?  LOL
