Good philosophy to live by. I shall try to follow your words. Sister Divinia at school used to tell us that God puts us in difficult situations, and He knows best how to get us out of them when the time is right.
Very interesting question. Don't know. I would say more the "thank God" type. No don't think of God as personally controlling everything I do or everything that should befall me. Which would mean I would not be taking any responsibility. And I think a lot of it - how we are judged - is based upon the responsibility we are willing to take. So whatever happens I know that I have benefitted greatly from God's love for us so I try always to be thankful.
