    I cannot spell "I before e" words.  They really suck for me.

    And, yet, Jamie, if you had said "I don't think I have affected what anyone posts on here;" you would have been correct because you would have used the word as a verb---which is what the spelling beginning with an "a" is used as (i.e., a verb).

    Saying, "I don't think I have had any effect on what anyone posts on here" would also have been correct because the spelling beginning with "e" is a noun (here, a direct object).

    And if you had said, "I don’t think I have had any effect (affect?) on what anyone posts here..." you would also have been correct.
