He is lying.  He isn't smoking anything.  Most stoners don't lie this absurdly.

  • You may be, but how do you judge that? Health care for the poor?... social security? .. personal safety? .. and income as alluded to below .. throw in your national debt and in reality things aren't so cosy... not America bashing here just touching the highlights

    You are wrong again, lib.

Thanks to several generations of extortion by democrats and entitlement-mindedness, there are several nations well ahead of USA in wealth per adult. Just use our good friend Google and search "wealth per capita by country".

    Representative link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_wealth_per_adult

@DTT -- I see your cherry-picking statistics to satisfy your bigoted IT'S ALL TEH STOOPID EBIL LIBRUHLZ FAULT Herberting continues unabated.

I note that Trump said he'd make "America wealthy again" NOT Americans. By that statement, perhaps net national wealth is a more relevant measure than wealth per capita (because Trumpistas don't give a f**k how much wealth poor/urban/ethnic/immigrant people have...;-D...)

By national wealth, the United States is BY FAR the richest country in the world, nearly 4 times richer than the next-wealthiest country (Japan).

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_wealth

Futhermore, when looking at your link, the vast majority of countries in the world which have a higher wealth-per-adult than the United States are also rather comparatively liberal, some even socialistic, democracies (primarily in Europe). So if TEH STOOPID EBIL LIBRULHZ were the source of national impoverishment, one would expect that Smash Labor Up Production Neoliberal havens like Russia, Mexico, China, Somalia, etc. would be at the top of the list. Yet they are not. Curious that...;-D..

We're gonna rebuild the American infrastructure, everybody will have a high paying job, no more poor folks, no   more crime...a chicken in every pot,  and then we're all gonna vacation up at the unicorn farm in the shade of the big rock-candy mountain... ( Problem is China will hold the mortgage, He'll personally negotiate that deal) !

How can a country be wealthy which has nearly 20 trillion dollars in national debt and 220 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities? Did I mention the massive debt of the state of California or the debt of other liberal state albatrosses. Have I mentioned the amount of people's individual credit card debt? How about all the student loans pending and those of which will never get paid. I guess in a liberal fantasy mind, this country is wealthy. In reality it is a debt ridden debacle, dearth of not only money but common sense.

How about the worthless US dollar which gets printed endlessly by this President and the fed. Money backed by nothing. What a joke, yes we can keep kicking the debt problem down the road but it will eventually cause a meltdown that will wipe out the middle class completely.

@pom50 -- Because the United States has over $80 trillion in assets, the national debt can (for most intents and purposes) be "kicked down the road" indefinitely, and the $220 trillion in unfunded liabilities is a BIG SCARY NUMBER guesstimate of what the country might have to pay out of future earnings over time.

But, of course, understanding that requires understanding some actual ecomics, not using Authoritarian "THE BAD PEOPLE MUST BE PUNISHED FOR THEIR WICKEDNESS" nonsense in place of actual economics....;-D...

While there are a number of extremely wealthy people in the USA,, No you are not a nation of wealthy people in general.. There are a number of countries that have overtaken the USA in the general standard of living of the bulk of their population..

Typo, meant to say 220 trillion dollars total, debt nearly (20) combined with unfunded liabilities nearly (200), but in the grand scheme of things what is 20 trillion give or take, some people believe it is like playing with monopoly but it is a sad reality.

Yup, we are a first world country but with high unemployment and an 18 trillion dollar debt, we are not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination.
