Unfortunately Firearms have been rampant in the USA it seems like forever. America grew up on guns, from the old wild west where everyone carried them, too many wars fought with guns Too easy to obtain. It seems no restrictions on ownership, Powerful Gun Lobbies refuse to put restrictions on them. Home grown terrorists have them, Gangs have them, Gangsters have them, more people than not have them. Too many killings in churches, mass shootings are too many in existence, mass shootings in schools, at concerts. It is Rampant I hear gunshots between Gangs periodically around the city in gang territories One Gang fighting another Gang. Too many killings of innocent children at schools. Welcome to America, land of the Gun.
No what we are more likely to hear about is when someone takes a gun and blows a lot of people away just to feel more powerful because they have developed no other ways of feeling powerful. Very desperate and the end for them.
