I have never had a parking ticket that I can remember.

    That's weird.

$15.  I parked 1 inch on (not over) the white line of a parking space back when I was going to college.   (Das ist verboten!!)

$10.  Well, they were $5 when I started driving but, atlas, inflation hit parking ticket prices.  I didn't care.  For 20 years I parked in a non-parking space at my favorite supermarket.  I simply accepted that I might get a ticket but didn't care..  I considered it my very own space.  I only got hit one time for $10.

$75 for no license plate light. I was pulled over for speeding but he gave a non-moving violation to keep my insurance down. :)

Wow, that sure seems high for a license plate light.
