He HATES illegals so does she even thought they are HER PEOPLE! Never thought I'd see the day that an immigrant would side with a billionaire who has never suffered a day in his life for anything. Imagine that? Sad.Beyond sad. Shameful.
Oh yes. There are tons TONS of Latinos out there who are ashamed as hell of their roots and try to do everything they think white people do so they can become just like their idols. Their image of white is entitled and protected and beautiful. Their image of themselves is dirty and smelly and lazy and stupid.
I worked with Latinos in one company and the manager was just like that. She was a beautiful girl who hated being Mexican. It was so obvious. And I learned that is a common trait among Mexicans down here who are legal. They feel unworthy and they want to make other people feel less worthy than themselves. They are perfect for Trump. They are total idiots. They are the perfect pawn of the rich white guy.
One or two does not speak for the enitire latino community. I'm sure you can find many more than that, but the point is that this is a strategic propaganda tactic used quite often. They weed through the masses to find a few that agree with them then they give them exposure.
I don't agree with hating. But just because someone is the same culture as you, does that mean you must support them in whatever they are doing even if it is against the law?
If a distant member of your family is commiting a crime, do you feel obligated to defend them? I don't. If you do a crime you should pay the penalty family or not.
They are HER PEOPLE? Is that a racial remark? We are all people.
There are many Latinos/as for Trump....just google you will find them. In fact I believe you had a question about the Latinas for Trump group a little while back.
Just because Latinos are the same color as her doesn't make them "her people". Not everyone puts their identity into their race or the nation they came from.
Real immigrants give their loyalty to their new home. The people of U.S. are her people.
I do not think you can tell someone who her people are. That is left to her. That is my first point. You do not decide who her people are or who my people are.
My family immigrated legally and it is truly unfair to others who want to do so that it is difficult and they may not be allowed, while millions can simply walk across the border violating the law with no consequences and instead rewards.
The system needs to be reformed because this is the worst way, where the law keeps out engineers and doctors and dentists and instead rewards people willing to break the law. What is the standard? Proximity? Then perhaps Canadians should be allowed to cross the border illegally and stay too. Or is it based on race? Or there is no standard or logic? That is what I see.
Hello Rosie:
Most Latino families have somebody who is illegal.. An uncle, or a cousin.. They don't wanna see them deported.

It's much harder to judge people when racism can't be your default position :)
"The daughter of a man convicted in the high-profile slaying of a Southlake cartel lawyer is making national news this month as a rare Hispanic supporter of Donald Trump.
Miriam Cepeda, 24, who testified in her father’s trial in May, was featured Wednesday in a CNN report: “Why this Latina campaigns for Donald Trump on the border.”
In the piece, CNN described Cepeda, a graduate student at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, as “the daughter of an undocumented immigrant.”
The report details why Cepeda supports Trump, despite his controversial comments about Mexican immigrants and his plans to build a wall along the U.S. border.
But the report doesn’t specifically mention her father, Jose Luis Cepeda-Cortes, 60, who was convicted in a Fort Worth federal court of stalking and conspiring to kill Juan Jesus Guerrero Chapa, a cartel lawyer fatally shot at Southlake Town Square in 2013."

While I don't agree with Trump that illegals are rapist... the cartels bring in over billions worth of drugs and trafficking over to the United States. Drugs and immigration are strongly linked being that the many who come through illegally are couriers. Not just immigration around the Mexican border but safer immigration over all because there's several countries where that problem occurs and it's a problem that is mostly getting ignored because our first instinct is to trust but sometimes that is at the expense of other people.
When we have more relaxed immigration we are solely relying that people are generally good people who have good intentions.. in an ideal world this would be great and would be the original goal to work toward but it isn't.
The fact is you really don't know her history enough to really come to a full conclusion of what makes her say that.
From the Latina that Rosie is talking about:
The video of the “pachanga” also shows Cepeda’s brother, Joey Cepeda, railing against the federal prosecutor who handled the case, Joshua Burgess.
“Our father is innocent. You guys are indicting him on some conspiracy charges that were frivolous,” he said, adding, “If you look into this, Mr. Trump, you’re going to expose a big trail of what else is going on in this US Department of Justice.”
According to the Dallas Morning News, Miriam Cepeda did allude to her father’s case as a reason behind her support for Trump in a separate interview earlier this month.
“People need to wake up and realize that the illegal immigrants that are here, that have no other form of self employment, do turn to drugs, do turn to the cartel business, do turn to illegal immigration,” she said. “I have family members that are involved in this stuff, and they are in the state jail at this moment, and I would love nothing better but for them to be deported.”
Too bad people can't get the rest of the story :)
From that same website look at the comments section. Again I don't know these people they could be terrible people but if this happened to them then it is an injustice where the media once again gets one side of the story:
First of all, you guys need to get an account at PACER, this lets you see the CASE. Our father (Jose Cepeda Cortes) was not even in Dallas/Southlake, when ILLEGAL Mexicans did the murder. Miriam Cepeda was talking about DEPORTING LEDESMA and CAMPANO,.,. those are the 2 MEXICAN Relatives who were forced by cartels to come to america and along the way they LIED to our family of why they were even here!!! . First you have to remember, Ledesma and Campano, had a successful Mexican Private Investigation company in mexico, they did work for banks/ attorneys, etc , PEMEX/ casinos, etc people locating services, etc. They were so good, it got the attention of cartels to offer Silver or Lead/ either take our money, or die if you try to stop helping us. If you want more insight these 2 articles explains it....
(deleted the link because I just wanted the comment)
Why do you think we HATE border violence and cartel and WHY WE support trump,.,. BECAUSE WE ARE VICTIMS,.,. and you guys have the nerve to say we are cartels and bash my sister... you guys are FAR from the truth... OPEN YOUR EYES... some websites will post whatever is going to get the MOST CLICKS!!!!
I was shocked yesterday excon to watch/listen to a cable news segment on MSNBC that included an Hispanic man who is a Trump supporter. He was viciously insulting! He said we have to control it because we don't want to have taco trucks on every corner! Honest to gosh those words came out of his mouth! I'd LOVE to see a taco truck on every corner! I LOVE Mexican food. What would cause a Latino to say something so disparaging about his own people
? He disgusts me. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday! :)
I was shocked. Stunned. Disgusted. Thank you for your reply Rpf and Happy Friday! :)

That may be true GJ. But the fact that they found even ONE disgusts me. Then subsequent to that I heard another Latino Trump supporter say that Trump is doing a good thing because otherwise we could find a taco truck on every corner! Can you believe that? That one was a guy. Didn't make it any easier to take. I heard that with my own ears. What an insulting thing to say about your own people. I happen to love Mexican food and would welcome a taco truck on every corner. I don't know how many of them there are but they are despicable in my opinion. You don't turn on your own people for any reason. You may disagree with those who don't go through "the proper" channels. I follow the rules and don't break the laws but I certainly wouldn't turn on anyone who did and viciously attack them
. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday! The depths to which some human beings will go is quite depressing.
A Latino man on a TV show said words to this effect...It is not verbatim. He was asked why he still supports Trump after the immigration speech and he said that while he was somewhat disappointed Trump is still doing the right thing because he doesn't want to see a taco truck on ever corner! I think that is very insulting and disgusting for someone to say. He doesn't have to agree with breaking the laws m2c. I follow rules and don't break any laws. But I certainly wouldn't insult and attack anyone who did. Do you approve of that? If so that's your right. I don't. You don't have to agree with someone to be civil and kind. The Latino turncoats who attack/eat
their own in service to Donald J. Trump disgust me. Thank you for your reply. You are entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine. Right?
Thank you very much for providing the link and fleshing out some of the backstory mu. I appreciate a lot. Happy Friday! :)

My husband is a legal immigrant and he resents those who broke the law by sneaking in or over-staying their visa. He was proud of his Permanent Resident Card (Green Card), which he had to surrender when he became a US Citizen. So, when he got his US Passport, he also got the US Passport Card which he proudly carries with him. And, by the way, for the first 10 years he was in the US, I had to promise to reimburse to the Feds or State, any Federal or State assistance (welfare, food stamps, housing) paid to him. So, yes, he resents illegals.
I have family that I don't speak to because of their behavior. And I have certainly said things about them that they likely felt was insulting...but regardless it was the truth. They are not "my people", they are just relatives that I don't want around me or my children.
Thank you for your reply m2c. I'm guessing you are not a minority. Armenians bond closely with one another as a rule. We are delighted to meet one another. Jewish people do too as a rule. Ethnic minorities are used to being scapegoated or murdered. So if you have no people you consider to be "your people " it is because of how you were raised and what you have experienced. You cannot possibly know what I am talking about when I refer to "my people". Something we will never have in common. You know 1.5 million of MY PEOPLE were murdered by the Turks. They were forced to walk on "death marches" and died that way. My great grandfather, great grandmother and Aunt Anne (who was only 2 years old) died that way. My mom who was an infant and my grandparents escaped to Paris. My great grandparents and aunt were supposed to follow but they never made it out.. My father and his family escaped to the Greek Island of Crete. When I see an Armenian name I feel a definite affinity. When I meet someone whom I learn is Armenian I immediately say "eench bes es?" which means "How are you" in Armenian. All Armenians are my people m2c . They always will be "my people" . I am a first generation Armenian American and very proud of of it. But all Americans are not my people. I feel very close to Jewish people because of their tragic experiences in their genocide which we call the Holocaust. They are my people too. It is something ingrained in my DNA. I am not ashamed of it nor proud of it. It just is. Though I am Caucasian I do not identify myself that way. I identify with people of color. You cannot understand what you have never experienced. Racists or bigots or homophobes or hatemongers are not my people if that is the thing that drives them. I probably have explained far more than you care to hear so apologies for that. Every Armenian family has a history of death at the hands of the Turks among their ancestors. No one escaped it. It is part of our history just as the Holocaust is a part of the history of Jewish people. Our history cannot be denied though the Turkish government to this day denies there was an
Armenian genocide and there are some people who deny there was a holocaust. It is what it is. Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday.
When my family came to America they came as professionals to fill needed positions. They came legally and if they had been criminals they would not have been allowed in. If they couldn't support themselves or find employment they would not have been allowed in. If they snuck in they would not be allowed to stay. Yes you want to see a taco truck so then maybe there should be a certain amount of people allowed in after a background check to run taco trucks. It is not fair that millions of educated people who can make real contributions must go through hardship to come when millions of others with no skill can just walk across border illegally and stay. Is it more important to have taco trucks than to have dentist and doctor and professors and engineers?
Well said ITpro!
