    Depends on what criteria you call ”living”.

    The earth supports life, life inhabits every nook and cranny; and the earth itself is active internally, and is constantly changing externally.

    No living thing would allow a deadly fungus (humans) to grow on it. A living earth would have long ago destroyed the creature that evolved into us.

    Well we are alive and support life (bacteria etc) and this all comes together as a self, so if we are part of the world or universe which is far more complex and robust than us and is streaming with life, then maybe, just maybe, that to comes together as a self, now there's a thought.
