He seriously gets out of his car after golfing all day, crashes a church (UNWANTED BY THE CONGREGATION) and asks them to PRAY FOR HIM.

Not the dead.  HIM.

And LOOK AT HIM?  HE looks homeless.

    Maybe he is just feeling low because he did not do well in his golf game and/or got caught cheating. Just wanted divine intervention to help improve his golf score.
