When was the last time you labored?

Yesterday.

What an odd topic for a question. Equally odd is that, in today's climate, honest manual labor is probably seen as strange, bad or both.

Early this summer I re-roofed 400 square feet of my house in the tropical heat.  That was laborious, believe me.

Yes.  That does take labor.  No question.  It is Fall now.

Today. I toiled in the fields for several hours (i.e. worked in my garden). 

 14 to 16 hours a day, but mostly while sitting in a great seat.  Then I come home and sit in another comfy seat. Is sitting labor? 

Pretty regularly, for me. Some this morning, but tonight and tomorrow will be especially laborious.
