Comparing NJ to an armpit is a disservice to armpits everywhere. NJ is where NY sends its waste.
More like the gluteal cleft, eh?

For the record there are parts of NC that may even be worse; lots of pig farms there. Let’s say it’s no secret when you get near. And Gary, Indiana. Woof.  This post was edited by Don Barzini at June 22, 2019 7:41 PM MDT

Southern Joisey isn't too bad, But had to spend a week at Newark one night. If Joisey is the armpit, Gary, IN is the a**hole. This post was edited by Element 99 at June 22, 2019 7:41 PM MDT

I can assure you ,NJ is never referred to as an armpit....And there is a good full on punch in the teeth for anyone that say or even thinks it.   :(

There were parts of Indiana that deserved that title in the 60's and 70's.  I don't know if they cleaned up Gary yet.  UGH.

And is it a coincidence that Trump is kind of from Jersey?   I know he tried to bankrupt a part of it.

ATLANTIC CITY — The Trump Plaza Casino and Hotel is now closed, its windows clouded over by sea salt. Only a faint outline of the gold letters spelling out T-R-U-M-P remains visible on the exterior of what was once this city’s premier casino.

When the steel mills were still open there, the sky all around it was red. We had to hold our breaths as we passed through it to and from the Naval base.

I agree. As for cities,  I've been in Shreveport twice and both times it just stunk and I couldn't wait to get out of that city.  When I was a kid Tuscaloosa stunk because of a paper mill.  It's gone now...been gone a long time.  I was in Newark twice in the 70s and both times it stunk.

If New Jersey looks like him and his armpit, I'm on the way.
