  • Trump went back in time just to strike the Louisiana purchase.  No other person would have the brain or business acumen to make such a deal.

Business districts where nothing is around and they have a monopoly on people with 1/2 hour lunches.

Across the street from the Museum of Art Houston, there is always a food truck. Sometimes it is a "taco" truck (Tex-Mex food).

Most museums have food trucks parked next to them. Food trucks are all over the city already.

Spain took it from Native Americans. Give it back to them!

Not on every corner in my town. They are not legal. No portable businesses allowed.

Conciliation is not in some people's vocabulary, and since they probably don't own an American dictionary, is never likely to be.

But plenty of freedom and change advocates in the U.S., from Martin Luther King on down, have been surgically removed at the instigation of some reactionary element within the American establishment (so it is believed by many).

Of those who have striven to improve the lot of ordinary people in Mexico, 'peasants' if you like, most only know the names Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata - both murdered in egregious acts of government duplicity need it be said. Though it is true countless 'undesirables' had disappeared or been found murdered after 'fingering' by some presumed arm or agency of the Mexican government - the number probably runs into the thousands, probably tens of tousands.

But for all the 'good' Mexicans just wanting a better life, and willing to work hard, and fit in, to achieve it, just the kind of people needed to help pull an economy out of the doldrums, there is a strong undercurrent, if not a sub-culture, of killing and general disrespect of law down there. It would be detrimental to the common good to pretend that away.

  • Midway Food Park in Austin, TX is the only place to find one in the US right now.

Food trucks are on many locations in Houston---downtown. They serve other foods as well. "Mexican" food we know is really Tex-Mex food. The Mexicans in Mexico have different kinds of Mexican cooking. But, actually, we don't need a taco truck on every corner in Texas because we have lots of Mexican food restaurants.

Texas and many other states were Mexico. If you visit Mexico, talk to people there, they will tell you they think the US stole part of their country. They resent it. Not all Mexicans are poor.

They come shopping here in Houston in their fancy cars and shop at the most expensive stores at the Galleria mall, etc. As I have lived close to the Mexican border all my life, being a Texan, I am appalled at what people from other parts of the country think about the Mexican people.

Maybe, the only Mexicans they have every known are poor. This is not so in many parts of Texas. The Mexicans that have come here and become citizens, have successful businesses and are richer than most Americans.
