Do you think anyone would notice if you wore a tin-foil hat in Walmart?

  • I’m going to see if I can find a husband at Walmart to father my future babies. Maybe a tinfoil hat will help me pick up.

That's crazy tin foil is a signal  blocker not a signal receiver. Be more efficient if you went around the store and nonchalantly run over guys toes with your shopping buggy. If the guy gets angry and bent out of shape they probably wouldn't be good with kids but if the guy is understanding it probably means they would be good with kids. Cheers!

I just re read your reply and now I can see  you meant the tin foil would help you pick up guys because they would think your stylish - I thought you thought the tin foil would help you pick up singles of what guy would make a good father so sorry I said your idea was crazy. I worked in a Wal-Mart for three months .  The rumors of everyone who goes there being eccentric are greatly exaggerated.  I think it has more to do with the area the Wal-Mart is in more than the store itself.

I saw very few weirdos coming through that check out line in three months.  So I think I saw almost everyone that went there.  Nice dressers and nice family people.

I might need a tin foil hat after I hear the answer to this question.
What possessed you to work at Wal-Mart?

Short version.  My mother died.  I had been taking care of her for several years.  I was out of touch with any career.  I had to go back to work, I had no idea what I was gonna do. I took the first job that hired me, and the final day of my three month trial when they told me I was not Wal-Mart material (I WAS NOT FOR SURE) I got a Twenty Thousand dollar check from my mom's insurance so I could go to school and get a degree.  Which I did.  I tried to work other dead-end jobs while I studied, but they were all horrible.  Finally, I was saved by Old School who moved from Hawaii to my house and became my roommate for a year.

We helped each other out of a jam and it saved my sanity.

Now he is established in his own digs and I am established in a massage career.  In some ways it is much harder than dealing with Wal-Mart nonsense, but the pay is better.

That is a great summary of a hardship time.  My hat is off to you and it is not tin foil.  It is a fine ladies hat.
May your hands and mind keep helping people not by telling them that outfit looks good on them when it doesn't or taking their money but transitioning your good will through your hands and thoughts.
Good for you in going out there and getting something, anything to make ends meet and getting on with your life.

It wouldn't be the actual tin foil hat.  It would be the quality of tin foil and the style that will lure in the elite soon-to-be husbands at your local Wal-Mart.

Good Luck and thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart.

Yes, and if anyone that I know saw me their surprise would be simply to see me in that store; I'm not a patron there.
