Those are flat pumps, yes. But I only had platform stilettos so they'll have to do. 

Mis-labeling drives me up the wall.  Now do you really have two XX chromosones?  Both my youngest 3, and oldest 28 can spot the difference at a mile.

Shoes are always in most women's DNA has been my experience.  My partner is practical for the most part.  Take her by Ferragamo or Bruno Mag and I know the monthly budget is toast.

I also have learned which battles to engage in and concede.

BTW, pumps are always short heel in the industry. Pumps are between flats and heels. Note it was the only snap I could find fast.  It is now 4:30 and I am wide awake

Ugh, I really have to respond to this crap? I'm just not even pretentious enough for it to matter. So you can be the master of the women's shoes and I'll keep using the word "pump" to generalize any high heel shoe. 

If that mislabeling drives you up the wall, so be it. Maybe a bit of Xanax will help.

No one set is heels, the other is pumps.  Gris you are now in my industry, 20 years and counting.  I think our PSM's and merchandisers would seriously educate you.
