  • I usually go to at least one a year, as my friends and I get older though,  it’s finally staring to slow down. I like going to weddings, the party part, not the ceremony.

  • I agree it shouldn’t, but sometimes drunk wedding guests love the rules. I HATE THOSE GROUP DANCE RULE THINGS. heyyyyyyy marcalena.

  • Lol, then maybe I should say that the type of drunk dancing I engage in breaks all the rules. Yeah, I hate group dancing. But I'm a horrible dancer in general. It's funny because I have a group of friends who are mostly professional dancers who ALWAYS try to get me to take lessons and invite me to their Lindy Hop events. Why can't they just accept that this is a genetic defect??!!

    but we won't talk about that.

    I never went to tons of weddings.  I don't really like all of the Hollywood associated with what should simply be vows to each other before God and the community.  That's just me.  But I have danced plenty at the parties prior to or after.  I never loved the Macarena but my kids did when they little.  I recently (I know it's not new) learned the Chacha Slide.  It is fun and would be more fun if my beau would learn to do it too.
