I would be a mid-sized dog in my sister's home. She and her husband absolutely love their two dogs and take wonderful care of them. One is a soft-coated Wheaton terrier and the other is a standard poodle.
All in all - I'd rather not be a pet animal at all.
Mistreatment of horses by ignorant people causes lethal accidents, poisoning, malnutrition, diseases, and dangerous behaviours. 80% of horses end up at doggers or abattoirs long before fulfilling their natural lifespan.
The statistics on what happens to animals bred by pet farms are shocking.
The records of outcomes for animals that end up in pounds are enough to make any decent person cry.

I'd be a dog so I could: sleep in your bed, follow you into the bathroom and stare (haha, just kidding), share all your food, get treats, go for long walks and road trips with you and lick your face. My name would be Honey or something just as sweet.
