Basil leaves look a lot like spinach leaves too.  But this would be a basil overload because basil is a herb.  Or AN herb if you say it like I do with the silent H.  

Basil is a fragrant wonderful taste, but too much is awful.

I love basil on mine, but when you bake it, the leaves curl up and shrink. I don't hate vegetarians More meat for me.

Best to put the leaves under the tomato puree - keep them moist and more flavoursome,
or put them on top after the cooking for the pretty appearance and a touch of freshness.

Great idea. I hope my sister is growing some this year.

The basil was probably placed on it after baking, I baked one using fresh leaves and they curled up and shrunk.
