Who was the last person you encountered who did something praiseworthy that went unrecognized?

My brother. While he was homeless he came upon a suitcase in an alley with a dog nearby. He opened the suitcase and found a litter of puppies. He immediately went to nearby carryout and told them, they gave him some food and water for the pups and their mom, then called animal rescue. A local news station sent a crew for the story, but they never mentioned my brother. All the pups were fine, as was mom. The idiot who did it left his name tag on the suitcase.
