When Welby and I see Lauren Daigle in concert together should I fly to where he lives and see it with him there, or bring him to where I am?

Don't go at all. She is a fake Adele 'sound alike'. They musta had a fake Adele singing contest somewhere. Don't settle for a fake singer!

  • That's kinda been the ongoing joke between he and I for a while now.  He isn't very fond of her and I quite like her so I'm trolling him just a bit in fun.  I like Welby.  He's a good friend.  I told him in another post that if I drag him to see her, I'll have mercy on him and make sure he's so inebriated that he thinks he's at an Adele concert.  LOL!

    Factors:
who has the most spare cash to spend on travel?
what is the weather like in each location?
which place offers the most opportunities for good food and other comforts?

Maybe do both if it provides a way to get to know each other better.

  • I'm thinking I'll make Welby bear the responsibility for everything.
I'm just gonna mooch.  He won't mind.

He can pay the travel expenses since he's the one wanting to see her in concert so badly.
Weather is no problem, like any fagtastically fashion forward guy,
I have a wardrobe for all seasons,
and If I am missing some necessary article of attire I'll just let him take me shopping.
Shopping with friends is fun, especially when they buy you things.

Comfort and food is no problem.  Welby will sleep on the floor wherever we go
and I'll take the comfy spots.
And I am quite sure he won't mind me bringing a slighty obnoxious goat along.
No experience is complete without a goat.
It'll be great.  I'm sure he'll bend over backwards to make this happen

    Welby's cool like that.
He's great to be friends with and he's so very lucky to know me.

    NOTE:
Its all in jest.  I'm just messing with him a bit.

  • Ya know, for some strange reason I used to think that Welby was a Brit.  I had convinced myself somewhere along the way that he lived across the pond.  I've since learned that he's just a Yankee Doodle American like the rest of us.  This really lowers my opinion of him to think he's just like the rest of us.  I always imagined him having so much more class.  LOL!  And yes, you can go with us.  You can be our token straight guy.  We'll need you to butch things up for us.  Hope you don't mind a Wild Goat coming along. I have relatives scattered around Ohio and haven;t seen them in years.  They chose to forgo the splendid grandeur of the New England lifestyle.
I'm sure they're dead now. If I'm not mistaken I saw a few in a Driver Education film once

There's been way more than several people over the years thinking I'm a Brit.
And I do exude class, yes.
    :)
And, truly, an obviously international class.
