For some reason Donald Trump springs to mind
Grandpa Jones - "Daylight Saving Time"
If that's movin'up then I'm movin' out. Surely everyone recognizes this!!
It's not the most cleverly worded song but I just heard it and I like it.
Mr Tambourine Man - Bob Dylan
The best wordsmith in music, ever.
Personally, I like Billy Joel's "Allentown".
I'm a fan too.
"Garden Party"
~ Rick Nelson
~ the lyrics refer to his getting booed off the stage at a Madison Square garden concert
~ perhaps the best "Eff U All" song in my opinion
I would nominate ABC's entire "Lexicon of Love" LP for that honor, especially "Valentine's Day" and "4 Ever 2 gether"
I also have a soft spot for Spark's "Funny Face" as a tremendous example of Ron Mael's ability to look at the world from an unusual perspective, and put that perspective into lyrics.
Oh, and we must never forget the impressive lyrical stylings of Allen Iverson, Jim Mora, et al....;-D...
Billy Joel sings "I'm moving out" in some song of his and that's the part I remember the most of the song. Don't know the name of the song but from the other comments here, I assume you are referring to Joel's song.
:)
Besides "Piano Man," "Allentown" is my favorite Billy Joel song.
:)
I like a lot.

He is one of great ones.
I would maybe give that accolade to Leonard Cohen with Bob a close runner up
